A Point of View
My interiors balance a traditional point-of-view with everyday function. An integral part of my design is sourcing furnishings and fabrics that are practical and affordable for each client’s needs, but equally beautiful in aesthetic. This classic restraint and balance creates a layered and collected place to call home.

Differentiation
My favorite part of designing is incorporating pieces that tell a story about the family – who they are, what they love, and what being at home is all about for them. This is distinctive and separates the mainstream design trends from the client’s home or business. It is simple, but important. Think of this as exhibiting pieces from your travels, displaying china or silver that has been passed down, or showcasing art, heirlooms and antiques that hold special meaning.

Functional Spaces
My husband and I love to entertain, but we have two toddlers and two border collies. All of my design decisions have to stand up to sofa jumping, spilled milk and dog hair.

The Finished Product
With each project, the end goal is to invoke a sense of comfort, joy, love and something special in the everydayness of being home – cooking dinner, working in your office, enjoying a movie night, hosting an elaborate dinner party, or reading to your children before bed. Surrounding yourself with what you love is the ultimate home luxury.
